2013 Dream Weddings Bridal Show... part 1
This last weekend was the Dream Weddings Bridal show in The Woodlands. We love being a part of this fabulous show and meeting so many new brides. We always set up our booth with LOTS of bouquets in every style imaginable. We have found that this is one of the best ways to help brides decide many things about their wedding flowers. We showcase different sizes, styles, textures, colors and lots and lot of flowers! These two bouquets above are amazing! The one on the left is the quintessential antique vintage bouquet with soft romantic colors and fabulous textures. While the bouquet on the right is a modern cascade/ teardrop with white phaleanopsis orchid blooms as the focal point and a bit of bling to spice things up.
We love to help our potential brides get a feel for size and shape, so we encourage ALL to hold the bouquets. It's amazing how heavy some can get. Plus you may be surprised at what you instinctively love.
The bouquet in this picture is perfect for spring. With miniature green hydrangea, pink peonies, yellow parrot tulips and buttery stock, not only was it fragrant but so feminine!
The two bouquets in this picture are traditional handtieds. The one on the left features lisianthus, lavender roses, purple stock blooms and rolled varigated aspidistra leaves. The bouquet on the right is a fun play on modern broach bouquets with a white hydrangea base.
The bouquet on the left is made in a bouquet holder which enables the designer to get an almost perfectly round shape, it also creates a water source for the flowers all day. With peonies, roses, and hydrangea it is soft, elegant, vintage and oh so pretty! We always like to have a 2 dozen red rose bouquet on hand for brides to see. Plus these red roses were just too pretty to leave at the shop!
