Are you a Calla girl?
For some reason Callas are one of those flowers that you either LOVE or hate... Why? I wonder if it has to do with the definitive shape and overall line of the flower The interesting thing is that callas are great by themselves or intermixed with other blooms like roses, orchids, or hydrangea. This bride was in love with purple, as so many of us are. For her bridesmaids we chose a more contemporary style calla bouquet with rolled ti leaves and lily grass with longer stems and a silver ribbon. For the bridal bouquet with went with a mix of purple roses and lavender and purple calla lilies with a rolled ti leaf collar and silver ribbon with a pearl button line detail.
Her ceremony was held in the Robb Chapel at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, white her reception was at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in the Emerald Ballroom. We used a beautiful mix of lilies, gladiolas, callas, roses and carnations in white and purples for her cake and table centerpieces. It was a soft and romantic setting for this lovely couple to celebrate their new beginning.
