Hot... hot... hot!
Not only is the weather in Houston excruciatingly hot right now but so is the color purple! It's been around on the popular color pallet for a while now and we're sure it's here to stay for a while! This blushing bride mixed different tones of purple with champagne roses and vibrant green spider mums and gladiolas. The vibrant contrast is so eye catching and really helps personalize the reception... -
August Wine Dinner
With the end of August in sight the vibrant fall colors are in full swing. Every store is now sporting fall decor {and some even have Christmas... yikes!} but at the shop we can't get enough of the rich colors of fall.
The decor for this wine diner at The Club at Carlton Woods was truly beautiful. With rich colors as a base and pops of bright green and indigo purples the flowers jumped off the... -
Champagne in June
With a timeless soft white, fresh green and champagne color scheme this wedding was truly stunning. The rehearsal dinner was Friday night at the bride's home. We used a cluster of bud vases each filled with either an anthirium, rose, or rannuncula and accents of grass on half the tables and on the head table, while the other tables held a low, full and luscious arrangement with a mix of hydrangea,... -
Just a Pinch of Purple
As you walked into this wonderland of silky draping white fabric and purple uplighting you couldn't help but stand in awe as the gorgeous arrangements took center stage. With a base of silver and white green and purple accents the flowers took you by surprise in every way.
The bride found these beautiful silver faux curly willow trees in square silver pots that we used as a base for half of the... -
Sea Food Buffet... Fish Anyone?
The annual sea food buffet at the Fazio club house is one of our favorite events. It's always fun to add a little surprise in the flowers. Last year it was goldfish, this year we opted for the beta fish! They swam around in the larger showpieces. He was gorgeous and fit in perfectly with the vibrant blues and greens.
We always love using tropical greens and unusual flowers for fun textures and... -
Green Machine
... have you ever seen that drink? Well aparently it's supposed to give you a super boost of energy when your feeling drained. I think we get the same type of "boost" from all the gorgeous flowers we work with, because although May was crazy and we were all exhausted we just kept on goin {kind of like the energizer bunny} -
Wild Weekend
May is one of those months that seems to be simply wild. We love it here; from the weddings to the graduation parties, prom and Mother's Day we stay hoppin'! The picture above are a few styles of arrangements that we used in The Grand Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. Due to the tall ceiling and shear magnitude of the room we like to use a few different styles of centerpieces... -
A Hint of Blush
There is something so beautiful about a soft color pallet with whites, greens and a hint of a blush pink. It just screams bridal, in a soft pretty way ;)... This beautiful bride had her ceremony at the Woodlands United Methodist Church in the Robb Chapel. The chapel was decorated with white roses on the pews, white hydrangea plants on the altar and beautiful greenery wreaths with a white focal... -
Showing off in Spring
There is something about the weather in spring that is so nice. I love it when mother nature shows off and lets all her favorite flowers burst into bloom. This beautiful bride got to enjoy the best of the season. Her bouquet was a beautiful mix of soft pink and white roses with Stephanotis blooms while her boutonnieres were a simple white rose with a blue delphinium bloom accent. While outside she... -
All Shook Up...
We had another fabulous event at The Club at Carlton Woods on March 12th for the Shook family. They celebrated all night long! With fresh greens and whites, candle light and dusty pinks the color scheme was reminiscent of a vintage boutique with vibrant pops of green, creating a fresh and light atmosphere. The bridal bouquet was a combination of roses, ranunculus, lisianthus and miniature garden... -
Beautiful Traditions in Pink
There are some weddings that take your breath away. This was one of those. The decor for the ceremony was stunning! The Forest Deck gazebo was draped with our custom white curtains and a ribbon curtain with rose buds that moved with the wind, while underneath a traditional chuppah was decorated with a garland of flowers in beautiful pinks and whites. To top it all off there was an additional... -
